New York City Businesses going live on Google

February 9 2010 According to Paul coordinator of Google's Business Photos We're concentrating on New York Family Shopping Industry. Hopefully to have many retail business up and running by the end of this year. Did you already receive an invitation from Google for a free photo shoot of the interior of your store? We recommended Petit Bateau Boutiques on Madison Ave to contact Paul at Google corporate offices in California to schedule an appointment for a professional photographer to come to their boutique to take picture of the baby clothes, women’s t-shirts, swimwear, fine cotton underwear etc. they will post online at Google maps so it will allow people to essentially walk into the store, off of Google Street Views. So imagine you are looking at this store, and then you can click on the door to enter it, all on Google Maps. Then when you enter the store, you can walk through it. For now you may only see on Google maps the "exterior" of shopping places such as baby and children boutiques good for window shopping.

E tip: Did u know that reversed phone number look up is simpler than ever?

Convert European children’s sizes to the American sizing, specs in meters to inches and so on Google has all the answer. Google is always experimenting with new features to their Search Engine. When entering data on Google’s search engine a 10 digit phone number the search results will give you the full all information related to this telephone #: The persons or business name, address, income with images of her/him with a view his house (exterior) Satellite images (Google earth), then the interior of his home living room, kitchen, closets especially his clothing wardrobe.

Google Business Photos

Are you on a shopping spree?

Google maps offering "pre shopping view" you can get a 3D view of the streets you planning to shop.

Today you only see on google maps the "exterior" of children boutiques it might help for window shopping only. We have had an nice experience on January 4 of this year a Photographer by the name Eric Martin representing Google Business photos and google maps informing us that Google is planning to add new features by using the same technology application offering the consumer the interior view of brick and mortar boutiques. They scheduled a photo shoot from our store inside taking picture of how the baby clothes are displayed and what the customer sees when entering the store. Interviewing what the customer’s interest, top sellers, and how knowledgeable sales staff being a personal shopper by helping a new mom or moms-to-be a layaway package by filling out a baby check list or signing up a baby registry. It looks like it’s important for Google to give people a full understanding of what is available at this particular address. We hope they are only aiming public places.

Can't imagine when entering on google a phone number the search results will give you the full information: The person or business name, address, plus personal images of her/him with a view his house (exterior) from the sky (Google earth), then the interior of his home bedroom, dining room, living room, closets especially his clothing wardrobe. It’s definitely the future.

Modest Clothes by Design for Women and Girls

Back in the beginning of the 19th century people were dressed in classic styled apparel. Take a peak on these old fashioned posters and portraits people seem to be happier with traditional and classic clothes. There were no cell phones, internet, etc. More family time.

Think about what has changed in that time: cell phones, email, instant and constant connect with no down time. Men and Women are more into Mental Work then Physical. Not so very long ago people listened to music or books on tape during their commutes, using that time to decompress from the stresses of work or home. Shopping was done without a phone stuck to or in your ear. Instead, you let your mind wander and smiled at or even chatted with other people as you chose your items or stood in line. When out on a date or with friends, you focused on who you were with and enjoyed their company rather than trying to live as if you are ten places at once through calls and text messages. When you left work for the day, you LEFT, leaving your work behind. Not so anymore for a lot of people. This is the world our kids are growing up in, one that has an artificial sense of urgency in our need to be constantly connected. It's like people can't stand to be left to their own company anymore. Remember when people turned off the phone at dinner or just didn't answer? No television, no computer, no game boy, no iPod....just time spent connecting with your family. Technology is great, but it should be used to work for you, not as a leash around your neck. No wonder kids feel stress, they're just copying us. Now we need to show them how to turn off the technology and enjoy the quiet, too. Relax in!!! Stress out!!!
